This is a celebration of Andrew Lloyd Weber’s greatest Musicals. Each song is part of a greater story. This is quite long so try to watch 30 minutes at a time. Try and complete it all before Sunday 12 noon.

After viewing the musical, write me a short summary of the musical. Make sure you mention the plot and characters in your writing. It’s due Monday, April  20th.

All Classes and groups, please check our the YouTube Channel “The Shows Must Go On”. Every Friday they will present an Broadway Musical by Andrew Lloyd Weber. This Friday they will show “The Passion”. 

Drop me a few sentences letting me know what you thought about the performance. It will only show for 48 hrs. so try not to miss it. Every Friday for the month of April, a Andrew Lloyd Weber musical will be featured.

Find something to use as a drum and march in a circle while adding the movements of the song. Listen to it several times and try to learn the song and keep the beat.

I Can Move My Body PreK, K, 1st

Pre K – 1sr grade

Time to Move. Stand, listen and follow movements. Try to do this 2 or 3 times a week. Make big moves using lots of space.  Do “Simon” Says that follows Sing and dance.

Ask your mom to let me know how you are doing with your music lessons.

Dance and follow the movements making sure to move in the correct direction. Dance and have fun.

Dance and follow the steps. Later work on your own steps. Keep a beat and count steps. Write about your progress and draw diagrams to show steps. (Use repeats for verses and refrain)

Sing with the lyrics the main melody of the song. Just sing and follow the Melody that you hear.  Have fun and work on creative movements to the song.

WEEK 2 – 8  Choir grades 6, 7, 8 plus Vocal solo singers need to go over these scales several times a week. Listen and match scale pitch.

Listen to Alexander Hamilton’s life story told in Rap. Look up the composer of the musical and which book it’s based on, plus awards. Look up as much information about the Broadway Play as you can.
